K-Medical Screening — Your Annual Health Examination, Physician-Coordinated

K-Medical Screening is K-MO Medical Group’s annual comprehensive health examination program, available exclusively at K-MO Screening Centers. The program runs from January through March each year for AEP/OEP-enrolled members, and is available year-round for new enrollees — scheduled within 3 months of enrollment for newly enrolled Medicare Advantage and SEP members. Every eligible member receives the same full-scope examination regardless of enrollment timing.

Screening Eligibility & Schedule — By Enrollment Type

K-Medical Screening is available to all K-MO enrolled members. Screening timing is determined by the member’s Medicare enrollment period. All eligible members receive the same comprehensive examination regardless of when they enrolled — no member receives a reduced or abbreviated screening based on enrollment type.

AEP / OEP Members OCT 15 – DEC 7 · JAN 1 – MAR 31

Scheduled for K-Medical Screening during the January – March annual screening window each year. This is K-MO’s primary screening season, conducted exclusively at K-MO Screening Centers.

New Medicare Patients INITIAL ENROLLMENT PERIOD

Scheduled for their initial K-Medical Screening within 3 months of their effective enrollment date — regardless of the time of year. This ensures every new Medicare member receives a comprehensive baseline health examination promptly upon joining.

SEP Members SPECIAL ENROLLMENT PERIOD

Members who enroll through a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) — due to a qualifying life event, loss of other coverage, or other CMS-approved trigger — are scheduled for K-Medical Screening within 3 months of their SEP effective date. SEP members receive the same full examination as AEP/OEP members, with no reduction in scope or service.

Equal Access Commitment

K-MO Medical Group provides the same comprehensive K-Medical Screening examination to all eligible enrolled members — AEP, OEP, new Medicare, and SEP — regardless of enrollment timing. No member is deprioritized or offered a lesser screening based on when they joined.
